French California Home was founded on a specific conviction: that the most enduring interiors have a clear point of origin. Not a trend, not a mood board assembled from Pinterest — a real architectural tradition that has been tested by time.
Each of our four design directions is drawn from a place where French sensibility and California climate have shaped a distinct material language. We work at the intersection of those traditions, translating them into homes that are livable, beautiful, and confident in their own identity.
Our process begins with a single question: which direction is your home naturally drawn toward? Everything follows from there — material palette, fixture language, lighting, furniture. A complete vision rather than a collection of individual decisions.

Our Process
From direction
to build-ready.
Our design process is built around the Revy platform — a proprietary design specification tool that translates your design direction into a complete, build-ready material palette.
We begin with a short visual quiz that identifies which design direction fits your sensibility and how you live. From there, Revy generates a complete sourcelist: tile, stone, hardware, cabinetry, and paint — every selection specified with vendor, SKU, and dimensions.
The result is a document you can share directly with your contractor. No chasing selections mid-project. No last-minute pivots. A clear vision, start to finish.

Rebecca founded French California Home with a conviction that great interiors are never accidental — they are the product of a clear architectural language, applied with intention.
Drawing on a deep familiarity with French regional traditions and the realities of California building and living, she built a practice around four distinct design directions — each cohesive, each rooted, each at home in the California light.
